Let Go and Let God

Everyone, at the beginning of our lives, we did not know how to let God into our lives. I too did not realize that God was always journeying with me through the people whom I meet every day. There was a time when I tried to flee from God, but He never left me alone because He loves me as I am.

Letting God into my life is a journey from self-reliance to trust in the Divine, often summarized as “Let Go and Let God.” It involves surrendering the need to control everything, releasing worries, and trusting in God’s plan. As a novice, it is a daily invitation for me to participate actively in the Holy Eucharist and to invite God into my daily life.

Through an intimate relationship with God in my prayer life, I am trying to discover purposeful living by putting God first. This allows me to live with purpose, letting Him work in my life rather than striving in my own strength. As I strive to let God into my life, He transforms my perspective from fear to faith, leading me to peace, strength, and an abundant life.

As I embark on my journey in the novitiate, I am truly delighted and cherish every encounter with people from different cultural backgrounds. As I surrender myself to God like a candle, I am called not to complain when I am being lighted every day. Instead, let my life be like a lighted candle that burns with love before God, serving and revering Him alone.
