Life unfolds through moment and milestones, woven into relationships with ourselves, with others, with creation, and with God. Each person carries a sacred story, held in the quiet corners of our hearts. In the first week of July, we entered a space of deep listening, opening, welcoming, sharing, and understanding.
We were truly blessed to be seventeen individuals from different countries – India, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. Our lives, our stories bring a unique thread to the tapestry of God’s love. Through a profound and meaningful ritual prayer, God gently invited us into the sacred place in our hearts.
In the sacred atmosphere, created and led by Srs. Shongita, Fulti Mary, Janette and Rita, we came together to share and listen to each person’s journey with reverence. Our hearts were expanded to embrace our sisters’ story as our own.
We were deeply moved, inspired, uplifted by the richness of each life’s experience of -love, happiness, sadness, loss, joy, faith, challenges, and the profound gift of our vocation and family.
Family is very important to us, for it is where we first learn to grow in love and where our vocation is nourished from the very beginning. The RNDM is our second family, where we are nurtured in faith, love, and hope through the loving accompaniment and guidance of our dear sisters. Though each of us comes from different families and personal backgrounds, we feel united in God and in our Congregation.
We had a special experience planting seeds while sharing our vocational sacred stories. Each seed seemed to absorb the essence of our journeys—the ups, the downs, and all the joy in between—as we gently tucked them into the soil. With a little love and care, those seeds took root and began to sprout!
Just as threads are woven together to form a fabric, we build a connected community by contributing, listening, loving, and accepting each other. As friends seeking God, our journey is not limited to six months in a particular place; rather we are united in an ongoing spiritual joy.
